About Gateway Fur Meet

First we would like to say thank you for taking an interest in advertising with Gateway Fur Meet convention! Our convention caters to the Furry Fandom, Science Fiction, and Fantasy communities (fans of fantasy creatures, and anthropomorphic animals) and is the first of its type in St. Louis, MO. The convention takes place in St. Louis, MO from March 27-29, 2020.

General Information­

All advertisements should be within the ‘G’ to ‘PG-13’ rating. The Advertising Department reserves the right to reject advertisements for any reason.

Please remember to proofread your advertisement before submission. We cannot correct typographical errors in your advertisement once submitted.

Advertisements in the Conbook may be used as display ads before and after events during the convention. There is no additional charge for this service.

Which Type of Ad Should I Get?

The Conbook is an 8.5 by 11 inch souvenir booklet containing artwork and stories, which is distributed in registration bags. Conbook ads are recommended for (but not limited to) conventions, websites, or dealers who sell products after Gateway Fur Meet.

Conbook ad rates for GFM are:

  • Fan: This rate applies to all non-profit organizations run solely by volunteers. (Fan run conventions, clubs, etc.)
  • Semi-Professional: This rate applies to small businesses run by a single owner with minimal to no employees. (Small press publishers, charities, small business owners, etc.)
  • Professional: This rate applies to all commercial, for – profit organizations employing part-time to full-time staff other than the owner. (Dining establishments, big press companies, etc.)

Inside Cover Ads

Advertising space is available on the inside front and back covers of the Conbook on a first-come, first-serve basis. Cost is $150.00 per page. Contact the Advertising Department to reserve space.

Convention inserts

Convention inserts are any 8.5 by 11 inch flyer or promotional item to be inserted into the bag each attendee receives at registration. Cost for this service is $200.00. Material must be approved by the Advertising and Publications Departments before distribution. Not always do we have bags, but merchandise will still be handed out to each attendee while supplies last.


Convention bag insert materials must be delivered to registration absolutely no later than 8:30 pm, March 26, 2020. Please contact the Advertising Department for shipping details.


Submissions are accepted via email, our online submission form, or if absolutely necessary, US mail.  All submissions must include a completed submission form

Electronic Submissions

Electronic Submissions are preferred. Acceptable file formats are Adobe PDF, Adobe Photoshop, TIF, PNG, or high quality JPG. All scans must be 300 dpi or greater resolution.

Submission and Payment Information

Your ad must be received no later than February 6, 2020. Order payment will be due upon acceptance of material, you will receive an invoice via email with payment information and details.
