We have a cutoff date of February 22, 2024. That means all unreserved rooms will be released for sale to the public. Any additional requests received after the cutoff date to our group will be accepted on a space and rate availability basis only. What this means is, if you reserve your room after the cutoff date you may be subjected to the normal going rate for that weekend, not the special con rate.

Room Rates

The room rate for 2024 is $129.00 per night. This rate is exclusive of state and local city taxes. The entire hotel is non-smoking.

Frequently Asked Questions

What days are the room blocks available for?

Our room block at the discounted price is available from March 13th, 2024 - March 18th, 2022. Please note that reservations need to be made before the cutoff date in order to receive the discounted group rate.

Why should I reserve in the convention hotel block? What does this get me?

Room nights booked are the lifeblood of any group requiring event space and lodging for their attendees. One of the reasons conventions receive function space for low or no cost is a contractual commitment to the hotel that a certain number of sleeping rooms will be sold during the convention. Function space can get rather expensive, in addition, a history of room nights sold helps us negotiate for room rates, and such for the next event.

What is the minimum age to reserve a room at the hotels?

Missouri law states that you must be 21 years of age or older to rent a room. Valid State or Federal issued identification is required upon check-in.

What charges does the hotel place on my credit card when reserving?

The hotel does not place any charges when reserving your room. However, if you fail to cancel at least 24 hours before your arrival date, you will be charged a no-show fee.

In addition to the stated room rate, what other charges am I responsible for?

Hotel guests are responsible for any and all taxes, incidental charges (such as food or other charges), and fees associated with damages to hotel. Typically, a credit card is required at check-in for incidental charges.

Is there a fee if I leave early?

If you plan on leaving before your reserved checkout date the hotel will charge an early departure fee of 50% of nightly rate. Cancellation policies may vary based on the rates or dates of reservation, please refer to your reservation confirmation to see cancellation policy.

I reserved a room but now need to cancel it, will I be charged?

If you want to cancel your reservation without a penalty fee, you must do it 72 hours prior to arrival. If you cancel after the 72 hour period you will receive a penalty charge from the hotel.

What happens if my credit card expires between now and my check in dates?

If your credit card expires before your check in date, you will need to update your card info with the hotel to secure your reservation when your new card arrives.

How many people may sleep in our room?

Due to life safety issues the maximum capacity is 4 people and may vary depending upon room type.

Will you have a fursuit floor?

We understand that fursuit floors have become very popular in conventions, however we will not have a designated fursuit floor. Though we are trying to have our room blocks close together for convenience and ease to our attendees, we cannot guarantee the location or provide specific room number reservations.

Does the hotel offer roll away beds, and/or refrigerators? Is there a fee?

There are no roll away beds. Each room does have a mini-fridge.

 

Can we put up signs on our doors?

It is against hotel and convention policy to affix anything to any surface at any time. This includes, signs onto room doors, walls, and door jambs, etc. If anything is found to be affixed to the hotel property, it will be taken down and discarded. See the GFM code of conduct for additional information. Should the hotel assess a fine for damages, this will be directed to the persons responsible. You may be able to hang a picture from the doorknob, but we can’t guarantee it won’t be removed and discarded, it is at your own risk.

I am a smoker and would like a smoking room, what should I do?

There are dedicated smoking areas around the hotel, however, there is no smoking of any kind within the hotel whatsoever.

What if we generate a lot of trash in our hotel room?

It is always a good idea to bring a few extra trash bags with you if you know you’re going to generate a lot of trash in your room, but if you forget all you have to do is contact the hotel operator, they will send someone up with extra trash bags for you. We do recommend being respectful and also tipping housekeeping. Rooms that are found to be excessively messy upon checkout may incur additional charges by the hotel.

Is there internet access in the hotel, what are the charges?

Complimentary High speed Internet access is available to guests in the Guest Rooms.
